In this book the author has endeavored to discuss human rights from a subtle perspective of human peace and development. Man is created (or born) with inalienable rights, rights that are given by God from birth, not just those acquired by virtue of nationality or participation in the affairs of a State. Because human rights are wide in their categorization, the author uses the classification of rights according to generations. This makes for easy comprehension. A core reference to global principles of human rights include the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights 1948, consisting of 30 articles reflecting a moral code of nations. After the Holocaust, the drafters envisaged that its impact would have universal impact and prevent another World War. The Declaration has over the years become the bedrock of many other human rights conventions and treaties, all discussed in this book, with most laws, judicial decisions and policies on human rights executed by the Cameroonian government over the past century. The author does not uphold human rights that include extreme claims like gay rights or wanton killing of innocent people to awaken government to fulfill rights that people feel are neglected. This book marries human rights with morality, and considers the Bible as a central reference on all areas of human rights. The primary focus of human rights is treating humans as originating in "God's Image', which ab ignitio excludes sin and evil. Human rights, well applied, especially by leaders, can bring an end to poverty and wars, and promote the development of Cameroon and Africa. Dictatorial leaders often abuse human rights, which often lead to extreme violence and more abuses, grounding nations into failure and underdevelopment. This book reveals that people should fear God in order to rule well, so that godly principles of kindness, love, prosperity, peace and industry will replace hatred, stealing, corruption and discriminatory practices that fuel continuous unhealthy debates, lies, falsehood and unwillingness to relinquish power. This leads to many other violations, including violating the rights of others to the management of public affairs.
