Growing up in an aerospace-focused family, Neal struggled with undiagnosed vision issues and a lack of self-worth until his fifth-grade teacher, Mrs. Anderson, reached him by declaring, "You're smart, and I'll prove it!"Mrs. Anderson's techniques of using logic to dismantle self-doubt became the cornerstone of Neal's twelve-year research project, You're Amazing And I'll Prove It! An inventor at heart, Neal spent a decade as the creator of The Bandit(TM), a widely recognized basketball shooting trainer. As the head of Brownell Enterprises, he combined his mechanical inventions with coaching programs to help thousands of athletes master both the physical and mental aspects of the game.Today, Neal lives in the Catskill Mountains with his wife and partner, Linda. He has spent seven years field-testing his logic-based curriculum through community workshops and at retailers like Barnes & Noble.
