Professor Dr. SushmaDave
obtained her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Analytical, Electrochemistry, and Environmental Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, India. She has also earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. Her academic and research career spans over two decades, encompassing teaching, research, innovation, and scientific leadership.
She has served as a Research Associate in the Soil Biochemistry and Microbiology Division of the Central Arid Zone Research Institute (CAZRI), Jodhpur. Currently, she is Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences at Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET), Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Her teaching portfolio includes Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Nanotechnology, Environmental Science, Cheminformatics, Biotechnology, Solid Waste Management, and Wastewater Treatment. Professor Dave has authored and presented more than senefifty research papers in national and international journals and conferences. She has actively participated in numerous workshops, faculty development programs, and scientific training initiatives. Her research interests encompass electrochemical sensors and biosensors, nanomaterials, environmental monitoring, cheminformatics, immunoinformatics, drug repurposing, sustainable technologies, and forensic analytical chemistry. She has edited scholarly books and contributed book chapters for leading international publishers, including Springer and Elsevier. Her current research focuses on the development of novel electrochemical sensing platforms, environmental remediation technologies, nanomaterial-based analytical systems, and innovative solutions for healthcare and environmental applications. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan
earned his Master of Science degree in 2007 from Vivekananda College, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrochemical Biosensors in 2014 at the Department of Bioelectronics and Biosensors, Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at SR University, Warangal, India.
Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Radhakrishnan undertook postdoctoral research in South Korea during two periods: from 2014 to 2016 and from 2021 to 2024. Between 2016 and 2021, he was a DST-Inspire Faculty at CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute in Karaikudi. With over 15 years of experience in electrochemistry, his research primarily focuses on the electrocatalysis of various chemical and biochemical compounds. Dr. Radhakrishnan has authored more than 75 research papers in reputable peer-reviewed journals, contributed eight book chapters, and edited one book. His publications have accumulated over 4,170 citations, reflecting an h-index of 33. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Indo-Korea Research Internship Award, the DST-Inspire Faculty Award, the SERB Research Scientist (SRS) Award, the Creative and Challenge Research Project Award by NRF-Korea, and multiple Best Paper Awards from various organizations. |
