David Atthowe is a British-born explorer, expedition leader, photographer and naturalist. He has spent the last 15 years leading expeditions, exploring remote jungles and spending time living with indigenous tribes. In his exploration of biofluorescence, he has spent more than 500 hours in the field, leading guided biofluorescent night walks across the globe in areas as diverse as the coral reefs of Indonesia, the tropical rainforests of Malaysia, the temperate rainforests of Scotland and the coastline of England. David is one of the very few people in the world specialising in guiding biofluorescent night walks, and he has been featured in the Guardian and BBC. In his work in the field he has made a number of discoveries new to science, which will be featured in Invisible World for the first time. |
