Patricia Welsh was born in Dover, Ohio during a time when the majority of people in the USA went to church, most people professed to be Christians and Social Security had barely gotten started. Prices were low and taxes were low because people depended on each other and God to take care them instead of a run-away social service system. If there was a need, you filled it, or found someone who could. She states, "Over the decades, less and less people have attended church, many people who profess to be Christian, don't live like it, and Social Security and social services have become unsustainable juggernauts and way too many people look to the government to take care of them instead of God. Many people have no idea who their neighbors are, let alone help them."Patricia grew up in Amish country in a small rural town called Winfield, Ohio where the Grange and church were the social center points of the neighborhood. She gave her life to Jesus as a teenager and attended church most of her life, and even though Patricia has the deepest respect for the ministers who were sincere and loving, deeply caring about their "flock", the messages were incomplete, modern day, watered down versions of God's Truth. The ministers taught what they were taught. Patricia knew there had to be more, and started on a quest to find what the "more" was. Gratefully she has found it in a personal relationship with God as part of His Ekklesia. Now her goal, with Holy Spirit's help and inspiration, is to help others find that "more" as well, especially God's people, who have the same doubts, confusion and questions that she once had.
