Jessie Thompson is a writer, editor and critic. She is the Culture Editor at The Independent, leading coverage of film, TV, music, books, art and theatre. Previously she was the Deputy Arts Editor at the Evening Standard. She has appeared on the Radio 4 Today Programme and Woman's Hour, and chaired panels for various arts festivals including Henley, Charleston and Wilderness.
