Jessop is sailing on the Mortzestus, a ship deemed by sailors to be cursed. He dismisses the stories as seafaring tales, but two weeks into the voyage strange things start happening. Sails go slack, ghostly figures appear, and accidents start to befall the crew. Jessop fears that evil spirits are at work, threatening to drag the boat and its crew to the bottom of the sea ?
