Wound care is complex, requiring knowledge and a set of clinical skills in order to promote optimal wound healing and reduce the impact of chronic wounds on the health economy. Nursing students need tools and training to facilitate the care process. It is essential that the approach to the person with a wound is comprehensive, systematic and based on scientific evidence.The aim of this pedagogical manual is not only to share experiences, but also to complement knowledge and provide students with the necessary means to apply this knowledge to the reality of their context in the different areas of care.
