Vegetable growing is the most remunerative enterprise as it is adopted on small and marginal holdings with high production in a short duration. Cucumis melo L. commonly known as Cantaloupe or muskmelon is a member of the Cucurbitaceae family. The fruits are extensively used as dessert fruits and are highly popular in hotter months. Optimizing muskmelon production involves a study where the effects of plant growth regulators and time of spray are explored in detail. This research objective is to evaluate the effect of plant growth regulators on muskmelon at their different concentrations at different leaf stages. The study involves two factors such as plant growth regulators i.e. NAA, GA3, ethrel and time of spray i.e. 2 leaf stage, 4 leaf stage, 2 and 4 leaf stage and their impact on growth, flowering, yield, quality and economics. The research aims to offer useful insights and suggestions for achieving ideal muskmelon cultivation by thoroughly examining these elements.
