Rena Barnett shares her life with her husband, five dogs and a confused parrot (who thinks he's a dog). She has been working and training dogs since she was a child and actively competes in a variety of dog sports. She and Derus have competed in national competitions and continue to trial in dog agility today. This is her first published children's book.
