In present study, new series of 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives bearing benzothiazole motif have been synthesized via one-pot reaction in presence of ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) catalyst. Despite the immense pharmacological effects of oxadiazole and benzothiazole, a modification on the oxadiazole nucleus may bring significant changes in pharmacological activities, and may provide new classes of therapeutically active compounds. The constitution of all the products was characterized using various spectroscopic techniques and subjected to in vitro antimicrobial, activity.
