A billion-dollar casino resort hangs in the balance but it isn't the only high-money stakes in the small Hokkaido town of Kabashiro. Something is stirring in the abode of the Indigenous Ainu people and turning the once-sleepy enclave into a hotbed of political intrigue, greed, and chaos.
