Pennie J. Carnes is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. She is an expert on the treatment of addiction, trauma and sexuality. Mrs. Carnes was a facilitator of a "John school program" and she has taken that expertise and mapped it out into the "TOPS" program, a comprehensive program for treating sex buyers. She is also the co-author of Shadows of the Cross: A Christian Companion to Facing the Shadows and has published numerous peer reviewed articles.
