Joab the Donkey and the Night the Star Stood Still is the third book in the Donkey in the Bible Series. This whimsical tale begins with Jeremiah, a donkey colt, complaining to his mother about the hard work he has to do as a pack animal. She lovingly tells him the story of his grandfather, Joab, who traveled a great distance with the three wise men, carrying the gifts that were given to the baby Jesus at the journey's end.
