Alan Brown is a former member of the Scottish National Orchestra. He now works as a freelance musician, with several leading UK orchestras, and as a consultant in music and IT. Alan has had several compositions published, developed a set of music theory CD-Roms, co-written a series of Bass Guitar Examination Handbooks and worked on over 100 further titles. Cliff Douse is a music author, editor and composer based in the UK. He has written for many of the UK's foremost music magazines. Cliff recently edited Guitar Techniques magazine and the Guitarist Icons series for Future Publishing in England. He is the author and co-author of several music books, including Scales & Modes for Guitar, The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Music and The Definitive Guitar Handbook. |
