Brenda Ralph Lewis a freelance author and journalist, specialising in the history of great civilisations. She has written over thirty books, including The Aztecs (Sutton, 1999), and contributed to numerous magazines including History Today, Royalty Magazine, she has also appeared on many television programmes. She lives in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
