John Lloyd CBE is the creator of BBC Two's QI. He has been behind some of the most successful and best-loved TV programmes of the last three decades including The News Quiz, To the Manor Born, Not the Nine O'Clock News, Blackadder and Spitting Image. He's also written or co-authored many books including The Meaning of Liff with Douglas Adams and The Book of General Ignorance, which has been translated into 30 languages. He is married to Sarah and they have three children. John Mitchinson is from the world of books. The original Marketing Director of Waterstone's, he became Managing Director of Cassell, where he published The Beatles, Michael Palin and Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable, and now runs Unbound. He's with Einstein: 'There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.' James Harkin is a senior researcher, writer and script-editor for the BBC's QI, and one-fourth of the award-winning podcast No Such Thing As A Fish. He has authored 13 books with the QI Elves and toured sell-out shows across the world, from the London Palladium to the Sydney Opera House. He is a long-suffering fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars. |
