Adélia Carvalho received a degree in Early Childhood Education, and taught at various schools where she promoted literary events with famous writers and illustrators. In 2008 she opened a youth space in Porto, which promotes reading through different activities such as storytelling, book presentations, workshops, and literary events. Sebastiao Peixoto received a degree in plastic arts and painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Oporto. He has illustrated numerous children's books but has also worked as an illustrator for magazines and has exhibited in several galleries.
