| Matthew Taylor is Professor of History at the International Centre for Sports History and Culture at De Montfort University in Leicester. He is the author of numerous articles and books on the social history of sport, the editor-in-chief of the journal Sport in History and a member of the Academic Advisory Panel to the National Football Museum. Andrew Riddoch is the co-author of When the Whistle Blows: The Story of the Footballers' Battalion in the Great War. Iain Adams is a retired principal lecturer, formerly of the International Football Institute, a collaboration between the University of Lancashire and the National Football Museum. Jean Williams is a Senior Research Fellow in the International Centre for Sports History and Culture at De Montfort University, teaches the MA in the History and Culture of Sport and Leisure and on the FIFA-sponsored International Masters in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport. |
