Sofanit T. Abebe (PhD) is a Lecturer in New Testament and Greek at Oak Hill College in the UK having previously served as Lecturer, Program Leader and Dean of Students at the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology, Ethiopia. Undertaken at the University of Edinburgh, her PhD on 1 Peter and 1 Enoch is being published by Mohr Siebeck in a forthcoming volume titled Apocalyptic spatiality in 1 Peter and selected 1 Enoch literature: a comparative Analysis. Sofanit is currently engaged in writing a commentary on 1 Peter for the Hippo Exegetical Commentary Series which seeks to provide an in-depth engagement with the Ethiopian context. Elizabeth Mburu (PhD) is the Langham Literature Regional Coordinator (Anglophone Africa) and an associate professor of New Testament and Greek at Africa International University, Kenya. She is an editor in several projects in Africa and internationally. Her research interests are primarily in New Testament, contextual hermeneutics, and Bible translation. Abeneazer G. Urga (PhD) lectures in New Testament and Greek at the Evangelical Theological College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and is an adjunct professor at Columbia International University and Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology. He is a member of Equip International and SIL in Ethiopia. He is the author of Intercession of Jesus in Hebrews (2023). |
