Shari Green spent most of her childhood reading stacks of library books, and things haven’t really changed since then. When she’s not reading stories, writing stories, or daydreaming about stories, Shari can often be found wandering on the beach or along the forest trails near her home. She lives in Campbell River, British Columbia. Shari is the author of the middle-grade novels Root Beer Candy and Other Miracles and Macy McMillan and the Rainbow Goddess, which was a 2018 USBBY Outstanding International Book and a 2017 Junior Library Guild selection, won the 2018 ALA Schneider Family Middle School Book Award, was been nominated for the 2018 Forest of Reading Silver Birch Fiction Award and the 2017 Cybils Award. |
